When we reach the trawling grounds, the nets will be deployed. Our captain will tell us about the physics and theory of the net system, the history of shrimping, the shrimp’s life cycle and a day in the life of a shrimper. The nets will then be pulled aboard and we will learn about what we’ve caught! FYI, if shrimp are caught, they will be shared with us!! Allow 3 hours for this very special event.
