Get Ready for the Holidays on Daufuskie Island

Holiday Festival at Daufuskie Island Elementary School
Saturday, December 1st Noon to 3:00 PM
At noon students will present a choral program to kick off the fun!
Come and enjoy a Smokehouse Pulled Pork Dinner- $10 / Hot Dog Dinner-$5 (Dine-in or Take-out)
We will also have a Silent Auction and Fun Games and Activities—Pony Rides, Cake Walk, Teddy-Bear Walk, Bouncy House, Face Painting, and much more! ($10 Wristband for Unlimited Play)
Please join us to celebrate the holidays and get into the spirit of the season!

If you love making baked goodies for people here’s your chance to get your aprons out and have fun! Daufuskie Island Elementary School needs volunteers to make baked goods for their 2012 Holiday Festival Cake Walk and Bake Sale! All items need to be individually wrapped and cakes should be in disposable containers. All items must be delivered to Daufuskie Island School by Saturday, December 1st, 11:00 AM. To sign up to bring baked goods please call Kristina Roberts at 843-540-7650.

DI Council Meeting Monday, November 19 at 5:30 PM at the Mary Fields School.

From the DI Co-op:
Everyone is invited to the Community Thanksgiving on Sunday, November 18th at Marshside Mama's.
Please bring a covered dish. We need dishes around 1:00 PM. Grace will be at 1:30 and the eating will begin!
The Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, December 8th. Line up will be at fire station at 1:00 PM and start time will be between 1:30 and 2:00. BBQ afterward and Santa and Mrs Claus will be there like always!!! Donations are appreciated. Checks should be made payable to Daufuskie Island Christmas Parade and sent to Laura Leigh Miles, PO Box 10. Daufuskie Island
